Handmade Solid Wood Award and Trophy Custom Engraved / Team or Personal Awards / Corporate Presentations / Custom Team or Business Logo
These bespoke custom wood awards are handmade in our Peak District Workshop.
This trophy is made using layered wood with the offsetting and complementary colours producing a unique effect.
Each one is personalised by laser engraving the wood with your custom message, text, image, design, logo, team emblem. We are happy to match your team colours with the acrylic. We can also use clear acrylic with standoffs to make an even more impressive presentation.
A cost effective and sustainable option, wood trophies appeal to corporate organisations, higher education committees, teams, and charitable organisations having a strong environmental and ethical stance.
We make your awards or trophies using sustainable wood sourced from local timber suppliers. Hand sanded to a baby smooth finish brings out the warm beauty of the grain. Simplicity of design equates to timeless style that won't go out of fashion. Wherever possible, we use reclaimed hardwoods.
Decoration and personalisation are added by creating laserable images from your text, design, and/or logo.
Custom Designs always available upon request. We can use a variety of hardwoods. Pictured is an oak base, laser engraved acrylic using team colours, and furniture protecting cushioned feet.
Size of pictured award 150mm x 200mm x 35mm.
We can create any size and nearly any shape. Just ask. You will not wait ages for a reply. If we can do it, we'll let you know. If we can't, we'll tell you that, too.
To convert your logo into a laserable design, we need a black and white vector drawing preferably in cdr (coreldraw format) or dxf (CAD vector images). Line drawings in the form of colouring pages work really well. If you have access to only jpg or png files, the image needs to be in black and white, as large as possible, and with a minimum of 300 dpi - larger is better.
When images are converted, any blurry edges will be picked up and exaggerated by the engraving machine. Rule of thumb is to explode your image on your own screen and look at the edges, if they appear pixellated or blurry, that's how the engraving will appear.
If you are using a particular font, please let us know the font. If there is any problem converting the image/logo, it is sometimes better to retype the text portion directly into a laserable format and concentrate our efforts on sharpening and defining your logo.
For text applications, please send us the text/wording in a word document (you can save with fonts embedded). Indicate the particular font and formatting you prefer. Please double check spelling, punctuation, hyphens, and apostrophes. We will use the text that you send.
Included with the service is a mock-up of your design for review and approval.
We look forward to hearing how we can help you.
Thanks for supporting a small family business.
